John K. Baxter received his Master’s Degree in Theatre from Villanova University. John has acted extensively at the collegiate and professional level for many years and has directed many collegiate productions. He also teaches several theatre classes at Neumann University and is the Artistic Director of the Neumann University Players. John focuses on classical acting and has directed productions of Shakespeare’s Hamlet, Pericles, Julius Caesar, Henry V and a staged reading of King John, Chekhov’s The Three Sisters, and has adapted and directed new versions for the stage of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol and wrote the book and lyrics for a new translation and musical version of the Medieval Cornish passion play The Death of Pilate, with music and additional lyrics by Dr. Richard Sayers. John has also directed many musicals and has designed costumes and sets for several productions.
