Bad Jews

On the night of their grandfather’s funeral, two cousins go to war over a family heirloom. On one side is the unstoppable and self-assured force of “Super Jew” Daphna. On the other is the immovable (and entitled) force of her secular cousin, Liam. Caught in the middle are Liam’s unexpected outsider girlfriend and his non-confrontational brother Jonah – both trying to avoid the line of fire.  A savagely funny comedy about family, faith, and legacy.  “A strikingly perceptive comedy with claws” ~~Backstage 2014 Lucille Lortel Awards, Nominee for Outstanding Play; 2012-2013 Outer Critics Circle Award Nominee for Outstanding New Off-Broadway Play
